Repeat Prescriptions

You may leave your request for a repeat prescription in the box at the dispensary, post through the secure letterbox at any time or post it to the surgery. Simply tick the items you need on the right-handmulticolour_pills section of your previous prescription form. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope).

Alternatively you can order online via the link on our home page. First-time users are required to complete a simple registration.

In line with national guidelines we will usually only issue one month’s supply of medication at a time, this is to reduce the huge cost of wastage to the NHS by people not taking their medications. If you need extra (to cover a holiday for example) please talk to the dispensary manager or your GP. The surgery prescribes medication in line with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG Formulary.

Please note, dispensary staff are not permitted to prepare repeat prescriptions on demand. If you run out of medication, you will be asked to see the duty doctor for a same day prescription.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or nurse practitioner at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.  Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
