The latest information on coronavirus infection can be found at https://www.nhs.uk/coronavirus
NHS advice is that anyone (including children) with a new persistent cough or fever (>37.8 C) should self-isolate for 7 days; there is no need to contact NHS111 or other healthcare providers. Do not come to the GP Practice.
If your symptoms get worse and your feel you need medical care – contact NHS111.
After 7 days, if you feel better, and no longer have a cough or fever, you can return to your normal routine.
If you are still unwell after 7 days, contact NHS111.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Call 111 if you need to speak to someone.
Everyone is reminded to follow the public health advice on the NHS website to avoid catching or spreading coronavirus.
Please be aware our clinicians will be using phone, text and online messaging as the first method of contact, saving face-to-face consultations for patients who need to be seen in person.
You can help by not coming to the Practice without an appointment, and by registering for the askmyGP online system.
Thank you, St George’s Medical Centre.
