In line with our practice policy, we will see children who are brought to the surgery by any parent or legal guardian who has parental responsibility. Consent from one parent with parental responsibility is sufficient for us to provide medical care.
We do not routinely share details of a child’s consultation with the other parent. If you would like access to information about your child’s care, you may submit a formal request for information, and we will provide what is appropriate under data protection and safeguarding regulations.
