The Oncology Suite was opened On Friday 2nd May 2014 by Stephen Barclay MP.
The practice has formed a partnership with Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge to
provide oncology services closer to home. This will mean that patients (providing they are suitable) from Littleport and the surrounding areas will no longer have to travel to Cambridge for chemotherapy.
One of the rooms on the first floor at the practice has been especially adapted to offer a quiet and comfortable area for patients to receive their regular treatments. The nurses from Addenbrooke’s Hospital will attend the surgery, initially, once a week when they hope to be able to treat up to 15 patients a day.
