The NHS is gearing up for a very challenging winter, with access to general practice an essential part of winter plans.
A new Winter Access Fund has been introduced by NHS England to help improve access for patients during the winter period. St George’s Medical Centre have been allocated funding to increase capacity and improve patient access where required.
These additional appointments may be face to face, telephone or online consultations with any healthcare professional.
